Wild herbs festival
Learn about herbs, valorise ancient knowledge in gastronomic and therapeutic fields and offer new uses.
This year, the Wild herbs festival will be held in Valposchiavo during the weekend of May 25th and 26th.
This gastronomic, cultural and social event aims to showcase the botanical variety and biodiversity of the Alpine valleys. The vast programme will allow visitors to take part in guided tours and practical workshops, meet experts in the field, discover old and new uses for herbs, and enjoy the flavours of nature.
The programme on Saturday 25 includes several workshops and guided tours offered by experts in herbal use, an interesting concert with the sounds of plants, as well as a conference on their intelligence. The day will end with an aperitif made of wild herbs. On Sunday 26, the festival will offer workshops for adults and children, guided tours, stands with natural products, musical entertainment and a wild herb lunch.
