As a result of the innovative spirit of our farmers, 87% of agricultural land is now cultivated by certified Bio farms. The organic farm rate is one of the highest both in Switzerland and worldwide. Our dream of an entirely Bio-certified valley is therefore becoming more and more concrete.
With its long gastronomic tradition and the accurate processing of raw materials, Valposchiavo has a wide choice of top-quality local specialities. To ensure that these excellent products are brought to your table, local agricultural associations, the association of artisans and merchants, and the tourism organisation of the valley have created the 100% Valposchiavo project, in order to offer an authentic gastronomic experience and discover the flavours of our region.
100% Valposchiavo means that the product itself, or all its ingredients, are entirely produced in Valposchiavo.
