Recognising wild herbs, rediscovering traditions linked to their use in cooking and body care, and learning new ways to make the most of them in everyday life.

From May 27th to May 31st, the Wild Herb Festival returns to Valposchiavo, celebrating the rich botanical diversity of the Alpine valleys.

This gastronomic, cultural, and social event highlights the many uses of wild herbs, blending tradition with contemporary approaches. Visitors can enjoy guided experiences, hands-on workshops, meetings with experts, and opportunities to explore both traditional knowledge and modern interpretations of wild herbs, along with authentic local flavors.

The festival opens with a special tasting dinner, followed by a series of themed activities throughout the week. On Saturday, May 30th in Poschiavo, the program features workshops, courses, guided herb walks, and a public talk. On Sunday, May 31st in Le Prese, the event wraps up with a festive day including a market, activities, live music, and entertainment for all ages.
